World Family Exchange has been created by Didier Leclerc, Hector Lopez and John Mensinger who are deeply experienced in youth exchange.
Didier is a school teacher and administrator in France who has sent his children to other countries and who has received exchange students.
John has managed youth and young adult exchange programs for Modesto Sister Cities International and Rotary District 5220 involving hundreds of students in the USA, Brazil, France, India, Ukraine, England, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Japan, and Mexico. He has been a featured speaker at several youth exchange conferences of Rotary International. He and his British wife Julia live in California. His family has experienced youth exchange as hosts and participants on many occasions.
Hector lives in Spain, (Canary Islands) managing a school. He has organized more than 20 exchanges with English and French schools and has experience with sports travels all around the world (USA, Canada, Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, England, Switzerland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Greece, Holland, Belgium, Swede, Finland…). He was a sports professional and lived in Paris (France), Osaka (Japan) and Santa Barbara (USA)
Didier, Hector and John have also completed over 50 exchanges in other countries. They became friends when they traded homes with each other. Didier and John have both written books on home exchange and have home exchange websites :
